Gender-Based Violence is a harsh reality for many women and girls in South Sudan, leaving survivors with trauma and limited opportunities to rebuild their lives. YACA’s GBV programs are designed to provide healing, empowerment, and hope. We offer counseling and therapy, support groups, and skills training to help survivors regain independence and confidence. At the same time, we work with communities, duty bearers, and leaders to raise awareness, advocate for women’s rights, and push for systemic change. By empowering women and addressing the root causes of GBV, we are building stronger families, healthier communities, and a more just society where women and girls are safe and valued.
